Job Description

Seeking Regional Chemical Account / Sales Managers for Specialty Chemicals:
Can live anywhere in the Midwest, preference for proximity to major airport (50% travel)
To achieve budgeted targeted sales and/or market share in identified markets and key growth accounts, by managing Company business efforts directly and/or as a growth coach/mentor to commercial peers.  This includes managing sales, marketing and technical efforts to ensure customer satisfaction and achieving overall market growth objectives.  Focus is to be in the Industrial Water Treatment Industry with our specialty chemicals/key ingredients in the Midwestern US.  Main clients are water treatment service companies, distributors and blenders.
BS/MS in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar technical background with demonstrated ability to apply scientific and selling principles.  Proven hands-on ability with standard commercial environment.  5+ years sales experience  
Must have strong communication and organizational skills and be able to interface effectively with multiple levels of the scientific, plant, marketing, and purchasing personnel of customers.
Has sound knowledge of industrial water treatment marketplace, technology and practice, and broad familiarity with the commercial uses of scale inhibitors, biocides and corrosion inhibitors in this area.  Sales or marketing experience with polymer additives and broad knowledge of water additives technology is required.
Has sound knowledge of biocide technology and practice, and broad familiarity with the commercial uses of these products.  Sales or marketing experience with industrial biocides and broad knowledge of applications for these products in the water treatment industry is required.
Ability to lead/coach/mentor sales peers to ensure/drive growth in developing markets.
