Job Description

An Assistant Superintendent is typically assigned to larger projects, oversees larger crews, and assists the Superintendent in one or more areas of a project. Responsibilities include craft supervision, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, material handling, project documentation, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Capable of predicting and solving problems
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues
• Plan and organize subcontractor activities
• Oversee and supervise stormwater management compliance
• Responsible for material handling
• Working with and assisting Superintendent with layout duties
• Assisting in managing quality control, and assuring compliance
• Assisting in managing onsite safety programs
• Assisting Superintendent with planning and scheduling
