Job Description

Summary
Melissa provides global identity verification and address data quality software services that help organizations with know your customer (KYC) initiatives, prevent fraud, reduce costs and improve fulfillment at every point of the data chain.

Melissa is looking for a dedicated and energetic individual with good organizational, time management, and technical skills to add to its Compliance Department. The Compliance Administrator/ Documentation Specialist would primarily be interfacing with the compliance team and technical staff to coordinate the completion of multiple security assessments, document production requests, and vendor questionnaires. The Compliance Administrator/ Documentation Specialist would also be expected to support the Melissa sales department in providing descriptions of the IT security safeguards and infrastructure to potential clients.
This is a full time position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
 Answer IT security and compliance assessments/questionnaires provided by the clients/prospects by using an existing knowledge repository and, where needed, via the appropriate Subject Matter Experts at the company.
 Help develop and maintain a knowledge repository of security questions and build standardized responses.
 Develop an understanding of the key functions of Melissa products and web APIs.
 Help research, develop and/or improve documentation to maintain compliance with a variety of certifications and third party audits.
 Assist with certifications for information security standards/ programs the company decides to pursue (e.g., FedRAMP).

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be detail-oriented and be able to perform multiple functions in parallel while being able to multitask and prioritize different projects.
 Good comprehension of and ability to learn technical concepts
 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 Strong comprehension skills
 Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills required for improving procedures and practices, the efficiency of workflows, and problem solving.

Education and/or Experience
 Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certification/ work experience in a technical field
 Experience with creating documentation
 Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
 Proficiency with Microsoft Visio is beneficial.
