MSG is looking for an experienced Bridge / Structural Engineer to support our office in Monroe, MI! We are growing! An understanding of Michigan LAP and MDOT regulation is required. P.E. is preferred but not required.

Job Duties:
- Design of basic structure elements.
- Developing and providing design layout of various bridge and structural plan sheets & conceptual design layouts under the supervision of a senior engineer.
- Perform bridge inspections.
- Work within a team environment, or independently to efficiently perform each task.

- High level of knowledge in the field of horizontal (bridges, culvert, retaining walls) structural engineering and version management of platforms.
- Bridge Design Software, MicroStation and AutoCAD experience, preferably in a transportation context.
- Ability to perform and have understanding of structural design process.
- Maintain organization, and properly file all documentation.

Additional Information and Duties:
- Compensation will be based on experience.
- Project assignments will be primarily in Michigan with additional out of state assignments possible.
- Candidates must have organizational and time management skills.
