Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify opportunities for new client relationships, public involvement, and projects.
- Maintain and perpetuate the MSG brand by creating graphics and templates for proposals, presentations, qualification materials, and reports.
- Gather information and prepare presentation materials for client interviews, trade shows, and university recruitment.
- Assist with writing, preparing staff resumes, and creating graphics for customized information packages in response to requests for qualifications (RFQs) and requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Recognize opportunity for improvement in daily operations, develop strategy to optimize work flow and increase productivity.
- Assist project managers with opportunity/project initiation and document formatting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in art/design, marketing, communications, business or related field a plus.
- Experience in a AE Firm helpful, but not required.
- Familiar with RFQ/RFP process is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, comfortable forming and maintaining client relationships, and pursuing new initiatives.
- Talented writer, highly attentive to detail with excellent proofreading and layout skills.
- Technically skilled, very familiar with technology (computers, phones, tablets, cameras, printers).
- Resourceful, effective troubleshooter.
- Highly organized and able to produce complete and compliant work on tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop required, other software knowledge is a plus) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to skillfully and creatively format documents (familiar with styles, page numbering, creating tables of content, and incorporating and creating relevant graphics.)
- Ability to shift easily between projects.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service presence.
- Interested and knowledgeable in environmental consulting and site development.
