Job Description

Primary Function:
The Development Project Manager assists in the overall management and successful completion of a project in a timely and cost-effective manner. Engineering, contract administration and cost engineering activities will be part of this job.
The Development Project Manager will serve as a liaison between the Owner and the General Contractor. The Development Project Manager will be responsible for coordination of project teams and monitoring of quality requirements.

- Owner-GC contract administration.
- Coordination of Design and BIM
- Responsible for creating and management of Punch List
- Overseen project planning, budgeting and scheduling changes with Design Team.
- Administration of change orders, submittals and RFI’s.
- Deliver recommendations on change orders and payment applications.
- Coordinate and Manage Inspections and testing reports.
- Responsible for Value engineering analysis and recommendations.
- Attend weekly OAC meetings.
- Verify closeout documents, subcontractor warranties and preparation of final Owner’s Manual.
- Coordinate with Director of Project and Finance Real Estate Analyst to maintain project
- Maintain a Budget and Construction schedule progress report.
- Ensures that project procedures are consistent with corporate philosophy.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of five years’ work experience in the construction industry, of which at least two years in a construction management position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
- Architectural experience is necessary
- An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be sufficient.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, plans, plus an in-depth understanding of the interdependence of project areas.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to express ideas clearly and objectively, orally and in writing.
- Fluency in Spanish desired but not mandatory.
- Great analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to deal with sensitive/confidential information.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, ProCore, AutoCAD and Microsoft Projects.
- Knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam and BIM preferred but not necessary
