Job Description

STATEWIDE & NATIONWIDE - CHEMICAL ENGINEERS FOR VARIOUS POSITIONS.

Actively seeking Experienced Chemical Process, Production, & Project Engineers. Also for a Production Manager to become Plant Manager.

Chemical Engineer, controls, design, process, simulation, modeling, production, project, batch, continuous, continuous improvement, six sigma, optimization, troubleshooting, PSM, process safety, reaction, distillation, technology transfer, technical service, specialty chemicals, bioprocess, polymer, petrochemical, Inorganic, Fertilizer, Organic, Water Treatment Chemicals, API; Plant, Corporate
• Apply engineering expertise, analyze data for trends, and identify process & operational improvements for current plant processes.
• Drive improvements, process optimizations, and improved process control to enhance product quality, yields, energy and other cost improvements
• Design and develop new processes for new products.
• Promote a culture of working safely and applying safety related concepts into process design.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and apply root cause analysis techniques and creative alternatives to plant and process related problems
• Maintaining effective communications and working relationships with operators, maintenance, contractors, administrative support, and others
• Assist plant operations with process standardization, upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance issues and scheduling, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, R&D positions prefer PhD level
• Ideally industrial experience in chemical process engineering and/or process development
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) chemicals preferred
• Preferably Operations management or Project management experience
• Chemical batch processing or continuous operations experience is a plus
• Direct, chemical plant production involvement
