Job Description

This position will be a concept expert responsible for analyzing, understanding and communicating key concept initiatives to field teammates. This position will be responsible for the execution of marketing and competitive strategies to achieve segment growth, positive long-term customer relationships and direct overall customer maintenance and execution.
• Understand and communicate concept initiatives.
• Be a “chain expert” by providing insights on competitive environment, brand growth initiatives, franchise outlook and potential threats.
• Identify opportunities for growth based on knowledge of franchise system.
• Communicate the impact of chain promotions and commodity trends.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize market share and financial results.
• Gather and interpret competitive intelligence.
• Identify and market “value-added” services to customers.
• Overall responsibility for company relationship with chain customer.
• Insure resolution of customer issues.
• Build/Maintain proactive and positive relationships with customers and co-ops.
• Direct team participation at franchise meetings and conventions.
• Conduct customer business reviews with key national accounts.
• Provide financial analysis and insights.
• Leverage understanding of chain and company business to develop Annual Operating Plan.
• Provide analysis of period results, discuss sales trends, commodity costing, risks and opportunities.
• Analyze and provide insights on key indicators “cause of change”.
• Direct overall customer account maintenance.
• Develop processes to insure accurate and timely setup of new accounts.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of distribution agreements and insure proper execution of obligations and “off-invoice” commitments.

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Travel up to 50% to customers, meetings, trade shows, and distribution centers.
• Be a result driven, self-starter who demonstrates strong personal leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
