Job Description

Senior Vice President of Logistics/Supply Chain
DFW, TX or Baldwinsville, NY or Kissimmee, FL

Opportunity for someone to come in, make a splash, and promote up to a Division President at one of the client’s locations. Mobility is key, as the promotion will likely be at another site within the US.

The Senior Vice President of Logistics/Supply Chain position is a career growth opportunity with our client. They oversee planning, management, and execution of all distribution-related functions to achieve goals consistent with division profitability. They provide excellent service to client’s customers and teammates, exhibit effective leadership abilities, and uphold the beliefs and values of the company.

• Recommend distribution operating budget along with capital expenditure requirements. Effectively administer, monitor, control & develop the system & policies necessary to achieve effective distribution expense control.
• Accountable for compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations governing our Distribution Centers and Transportation Departments by monitoring implementation and practice to ensure compliance.
• Lead by example, delegate and validate results.
• Maintain positive teammate relations, to be highly visible throughout the organization, maintaining high level of communication at all levels throughout the organization, while promoting and endorsing our Open-Door policy.
• Develop excellent business relationship with customers, understanding their needs through frequent communication with their senior leadership and internal Sales Team.

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Have at least 10 years of progressively responsible supply chain experience.
• Have at least 4 years of planning, analytical, and/or reporting experience, preferably in positions of increasing responsibility.
• Be experienced leading distribution and transportation staffs, and have a background in hiring, training, and motivating employees and resolving employee relations issues.
• Have a detailed understanding of financial statements and resulting cost implications.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
