Job Description

Area : National/Remote

Description : Our client is a fast-growing, personal care brand with a game-changing clean deodorant. They are seeking an energetic, passionate Assistant Brand Manager to lead traditional brand management across multiple, cross-functional touch points: Creative, Social, Retail, and Sales. This role will report to their Chief Marketing Officer and is a great opportunity for someone with a proven track record of success to join a small (but rapidly growing) brand and be part of delivering continued successful growth.

This is a fully remote position and the candidate can be located anywhere in the country.


- Serve as the day-to-day lead within the marketing team (i.e. owning marketing strategy to grow general brand awareness and supporting retail + Amazon channels)

- Create and implement digitally driven, integrated marketing programs

- Proactively seek out strategies to position the brand for growth

- Conduct competitive research, as well as consumer trends and shopping behaviors

- Create and supervise content such as press materials, print, and digital media

- Monitor the performance of the brand through key performance indicators (KPI)

- Partner with external agencies where necessary to manage marketing campaigns

- Maintain and grow the brand’s affiliation and partnership programs

- Identify optimal product positioning

-Create and manage the annual brand budgets and P&L


- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

- 2-4 years of brand management/marketing experience in the Beauty/Personal Care industry (preferred) or similar

- Professional, enthusiastic team player that possesses a drive for results, thrives in a fast-paced environment and easily adapts to changing priorities

- Out-of-the-box thinker with energy, fearless creativity, and business common sense

- Ability to embrace the start-up culture of invention, problem-solving, respect, and ability to listen and learn

- Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
