Job Description

Area : National/Remote

Description : Our client is a health and wellness company focused in the field of longevity. Their Founder is a world-renowned researcher, explorer, and New York Times bestselling author. They are seeking a Brand/Content Marketing Manager to oversee and execute consumer communication for the company. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical chops, excellent content creation skills, and a passion for the brand’s mission. This is a small team and this role will serve as the primary marketing person (at least for the time being), leading both high-level strategy and day-to-day execution. Our client is willing to consider full time or part time candidates for this role.

This is a remote position and the candidate can be located anywhere in the country.

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the Founder to drive strategy, development, planning, and execution of marketing communication campaigns

- Provide end-to-end project management of marketing communication campaigns

- Serve as an exemplary writer, writing content consistent with the company’s tone and mission

- Develop and communicate a unique content marketing strategy for current and new social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Clubhouse, and more (also staying on top of all social media trends and upcoming platforms to ensure company is always on the cutting edge)

- Manage social media ad spends and monitor social growth – success will be measured by Instagram follower increases and other similar metrics

- Develop email newsletter and monitor acquisition and retention efforts

- Continuously measure and improve content performance; create reports leveraging Google Analytics and/or social media analytics tools

- Own company marketing calendar and facilitate integrated communication planning efforts

- Analyze website traffic, social media metrics, and email marketing data

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree, required

- 6+ years broad communications/content/brand marketing experience

- Expert knowledge of how to maintain and grow brand presence across all major platforms; experience supporting podcast marketing, a plus

- Strong copywriting and editing skills

- Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp or similar)

- Demonstrated success in creating and executing influencer strategies; PR and events experience a plus

- Experience with social media tools such as Google Ads, as well as measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Simply Measured, and/or Curalate

- Familiarity with MS Suites, particularly Excel

- Working knowledge of Wordpress and Adobe Creative Suites

- Passion for the company’s mission and the health and wellness space as a whole
