The Role
We are currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for the development of electromechanical medical devices. The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for support of ongoing design efforts, as well as algorithm development, in Embedded Software, Control Systems development, and simulation. The Embedded Software Engineer will ideally have experience with rapid prototyping of novel electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Develop & Implement Algorithms to solve a variety of challenges.
• Work with digital hardware, software, and test equipment
• Help develop novel solutions for ongoing system developments

Required Qualifications
• At leas 7 years of relevant professional work experience
• Background in microcontroller embedded systems development with experience in embedded programming (C or C++)
• Proficiency in at least one general purpose desktop programming language (C, C++, Java, Python, etc.)
• Background in control systems design for mechanical systems

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with sensor interfaces and data processing in microcontrollers (GPS, IUM, etc) and microprocessors.
• PCB design experience
• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science related field
• Demonstrated interest in learning new skills and personal development
• Ability to communicate effectively to engineers across a variety of technical disciplines
