Job Description

- 12 month potentially renewable contract
- Onsite Seattle

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Actively provide statistical support to the Clinical R&D Department.
• Provide statistical input into the design of protocols including preparation of the statistical analysis section.
• Prepare statistical analysis plans including table/listing/figure shells. Provide derivation for key variables and review data/programming specs.
• Analyze and report results of clinical trials. Provide tables, listings and graphs for final study reports. Provide ad hoc/data driven analyses.
• Provide statistical input for the preparation of final study reports and other required documents.
• Provide statistical support for integrated reports, submissions preparation, and post-submission activities.
• Support preparation of manuscripts, abstracts and presentation for scientific meetings.
• Provide project requirements to programmers.
• Serve as statistical lead on studies and projects as needed.
2. Work closely with different departments in the company (regulatory, clinical, marketing, data management, health economics, etc.) and provide statistical support for a variety of functional groups.
3. Participate in cross-functional collaboration and meetings to represent biostat.

Skills and Experience Required:
• Masters or Ph.D. degree in statistics or biostatistics
• Ph.D. in Statistics with 5 plus years or MS with 7 plus years pharmaceutical or related experience as a statistician supporting clinical trials.
• Good planning and project management skills with experience including direct interaction with clinicians, safety scientists, data management and statistical programmers.
• Knowledge of applied parametric and nonparametric statistics
• Strong SAS programming skills. Willingness to be hands-on in reporting/analysis work.
• Ability to translate client needs into statistical practice and the ability to educate clients in the use of statistics
• Good interpersonal, verbal and writing communication skills.
• Experience and familiarity of clinical lab data analysis a plus.
