Job Description

• - 12 month renewable remote contract
• Advises on database selection, patient population selection and statistical analysis plans
• Executes on statistical analysis plans
• Perform RWD analytics QC including to assess if research project programs are aligned with statistical analysis plans
• Tracks and archives RWE-A projects in accordance with department standards
• Remains current on medical coding systems and relevant large healthcare databases; develops and maintains statistical programming skills
• Leverages all licensed RWD available to address prioritized research questions
• Serves as expert point of contact for specific RWD
• Drives excellence in RWD methods in collaboration with RWE COE research leads
• Actively supports, and may lead, business process development opportunities
Minimum Qualifications

• PhD in biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics and outcomes research, health policy, or similar required with minimum 1 -3 years statistical programming experience or Masters degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics or related field and 3+ years statistical programming experience
• Demonstrated experience with statistical programming and analysis of RWD including open and closed claims, hospital charge master and EHR
• Technical competence in efficient SAS programming and other relevant software systems.
• Attention to detail is critical, as is adhering to standards and procedures.
• Good organizational and written/verbal communication skills required.
• Good interpersonal skills are also important.

• Strong study and project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute observational research
• Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, diverse, and matrix environment
