Job Description

*Initial 6-month contract, remote, and potentially renewable

Summary
We are looking for experienced statisticians who can quickly step into hands-on, detailed analyses with minimal training. Candidates need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced SAS® programming environment on complex studies across many therapeutic areas, and have at least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. CRO experience is preferred. Typical tasks include (but aren’t limited to):
• Writing/reviewing Statistical Analysis Plan text and Table, Listing, Figure (TLF) shells
• Writing/reviewing ADaM (analysis dataset) and TLF specifications
• Reviewing/validating datasets and TLFs, including independent SAS programming of results

Description:
• Quickly learns and follows departmental procedures for statistical analyses and programming work.
• Creates or reviews ADaM specifications.
• Develops statistical analysis plan, including table and listing specifications, and guide others on the team in its implementation.
• Programmatically validates statistical tables with an emphasis on efficacy endpoints.
• Reviews TLFs for validity according to SAP, Shells, and specifications.

Education and Experience:
• MS/MA or PhD degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or related field
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, CRO experience strongly preferred
• Vaccine experience preferred, but not required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong SAS® programming skills and understanding of database structures
• Strong CDISC knowledge, ability to write high quality ADaM specifications
• Strong knowledge of statistical principles and strong statistical skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Good organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities
• Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
