Job Description

Our client, a great team and growing pharmaceutical company located in Bedminster, NJ is currently looking to grow their team! This position is a six month contract, expected to turn into a full time position in January, 2020.

Contract Financial Analyst
• Assist with the preparation, negotiation and finalization of clinical study budgets & forecasts tools, including analyzing major cost drivers
• Manage Clinical and Medical Affairs Contract Agreement and Amendment process, interaction with sites, legal and compliance as necessary
• Analyze clinical study investigator grants for FMV alignment based on scope of work, clinical trial protocol and other clinical trial information
• Manage site payment process, interaction with clinical trial manager, vendor and finance as necessary
• Monitor and track clinical study costs including cost variances, interaction with clinical study team
• Prepare and review monthly accruals for clinical and Medical Affairs, interacting closely with Clin Ops, Med Affairs and Finance groups
• Assist in annual budget and quarterly forecasting process, interacting closely with Clin Ops, Med Affairs and Finance groups
• Manage direct reports who assist with the contract and financial aspects of the Clinical and Medical and Professional Affairs departments

Required Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of clinical trial experience at a clinical site, CRO, or sponsor biopharmaceutical organization
• Prior in-house experience as a member of a clinical operations department in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company strongly preferred
• People management skills; managed director reports is a plus
• BS/BA or equivalent degree
• Strong EXCEL skills
• Strong attention to detail and highly analytical
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, problem-solve and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of a growing biotech company
Preferred Qualifications:
• Small company experience is a plus for this is a hands-on individual contributor role.
• Prior experience working with site payment vendor(s) an incredible plus
