Job Description

Our client is currently hiring! Great team looking for a Proposal Writer, full time and homebased, to join them!

The Proposal Writer is a collaborative member of the Business Development team and works under the direction of the Senior Director, Sales and Marketing to develop high quality proposal documents. The Proposal Writer supports the Business Development team with overall strategic writing, branding and key differentiators for client proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Research information needed to complete Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Draft RFI responses.
Review RFPs and associated information (study synopsis, clinical protocol, or other specifications) to determine project scope and draft the initial response document text.
Support and participate in fact-finding meetings as assigned.
Conduct interviews and work with Service Line Managers to ensure customized and strategic RFP responses.
Integrate supplier business information into proposals and presentations as applicable.
Edit and revise proposals according to feedback received.
Maintain consistency in proposal writing by following company standards and using approved templates.
Proofread communications and documents as requested.
Assist with the development of company collateral materials and business development communications.
Develop, format, and update standard proposal template language for company core service offerings.
Help create graphics and visuals for projects and services as needed.
Update and maintain therapeutic experience charts.
Provide support to bid defense teams with presentation development.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree required with 2 years of proposal writing experience preferred; however, a combination of education, training and experience will be considered
CRO or clinical research industry experience with knowledge of FDA-regulated research for medical product development and Good Clinical Practice standards.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
Strong computer skills in standard software applications (MS Teams®, MS Word®, Excel®) Strong computer skills with MS Word®, PowerPoint®, MS Excel®, MS Teams®, Adobe Acrobat or equivalent PDF program, required
Demonstrated ability to confidently interface with internal and external customers
Ability to lead meetings and present to others
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
