Job Description

Position Title: Family Office Bookkeeper
Department(s): Family Management and Financial Management

Position Purpose & Summary
The family bookkeeper plays an integral role in family and financial/tax management helping to fulfill the essential personal and business bookkeeping and financial administration functions of the company.

The individual will work with the Family Management team to successfully steward the important function of family household financial oversight, budgeting and administration. The family bookkeeper will also assist the Financial Management team by updating books and records for the family’s companies, trusts, and individuals.

Key Responsibilities
Family Management
• Work with Executive Director of Family Office in executing household financial management activities and payables
• Ensure the bills and personal records are kept current and in good order
• Check processing, wire preparation
• Weekly Liquidity Reports

Financial and Tax Management
• Reconcile accounts and intra-family loans
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Track and reconcile K-1’s
• Filing invoices and other supporting information
• Check deposits
• Financial statement quarterly mark-to-market
• Prepare and distribute reports as necessary
