Job Description

Our client is looking for a Lead Server-side Software Engineer with expertise in C#.Net and back-end development for public cloud software products. Seeking an engineer to lead and manage a small team of software engineers in building server-side cloud-deployed applications software. Lead a team of highly skilled software engineers in a quickly growing technology-driven organization in the Austin area.

Position Title: Lead Software Engineer - Server-side

Job Description:
• Lead /manage small teams in technical design, scoping and estimation
• Develop components to automate vital requests for services
• Work on a broad range of product components and workflows
• Advise and train development team members
• Build full stack web applications in public and private cloud environments
• Design, develop and deploy applications and components
• Employ the latest in testing and deployment methodologies to ensure safe code deployment
• Guide and participate in engineering deliveries and process - mentor, guide, develop, and assist

Experience Profile:
• BS in Computer Science, or related, and 6+ years applicable experience in software development
• Expertise in back-end web application development and experience in full stack development
• Strength in C#.Net, Java, RESTful API, Azure
• Experience managing small teams - leading development tasks, mentoring other developers
• Strong experience in RESTful API development
• Exceptional skill in build/test failure analysis and troubleshooting
• Azure ecosystem or similar cloud platform is strongly preferred
• Agile - Scrum, sprints, etc.
• Stable record of direct employment

Helpful/Desired:
• MS degree in Computer Science or related
• Experience with Java, Spring, Java, Spring, Node, Java ES5 Node.js
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, others)
• CI/D - Continuous Improvement, Continuous Development
• Patient information systems, clinical workflow, medical, healthcare, etc.
