Our Bereavement Program is based on a simple yet powerful philosophy: that being able to talk about what you are feeling and finding compassionate support in that process can be a great source of solace and well-being. We recognize that each individual’s grief journey is unique, our programming is tailored to meet the needs of grieving adults and children. Bereavement services are available to anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. We serve individuals throughout southern New Hampshire, including Manchester, Nashua, Derry, Salem, Merrimack and beyond. All of our services are free of charge. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team the Bereavement Clinician is responsible for providing follow up bereavement support to hospice families, agency and facility staff as well as the community in coordination with the Psychosocial Manager. This support includes but is not limited to assessing individual's adjustment to grief, formulating a plan of care for support, planning and facilitating education and/or support sessions and connection to appropriate resources. The Bereavement Clinician will assist with the planning, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating the Bereavement Program and its activities. Requires Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or a related field or a Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience or education in grief and loss counseling. Computer skills required.
