Job Description

Marketo Lead and Program Manager

The Marketo Lead and Program Manager collaborates with the company’s global Marketing teams to implement integrated campaign best practices for all outbound programs. This is an opportunity for someone who has been looking for a role that involves more responsibility, can provide strategic direction, and the chance to make impactful decisions.

This is a salaried position in Massachusetts.

Marketo Lead Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain Marketo marketing automation system along with the involved processes, procedures, SLA’s, programs and technical workflows. Interpret and implement new requirements as required
· Create Standard Operating Procedures for the creation of marketing programs within Marketo, acting as the primary “power user” to cross-train and support marketing team members on the best-practices and usage of the system
· Manage outside partners on the setup and execution of marketing campaigns within Marketo system
· Develop processes to continually improve database quality through data enrichment and data quality scoring
· Analyze campaign performance to measure success and verify application of best practices and make recommendations for future change
· Oversee marketing qualified lead distribution system and follow-up process, including lead assignment logic, lead source definition, and reporting
· Oversee integration of various Marketing technology platforms with the goal of creating a single view of customer data including Marketing Automation, CRM, and CMS systems
· Develop best practices for targeting and campaign development to effectively reach defined target audiences
· Communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing

Marketo Lead Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
· 5-7 years of marketing experience including B2B and B2C organizations
· 3+ years of experience with and certification in Marketo marketing automation tool
· Experience with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce)
· Demonstrated understanding of marketing automation best practices, industry standards, lead generation/nurturing, lead lifecycle and management, scoring models, data hygiene and database segmentation
· Proactive ability to work effectively and with a sense of urgency in collaboration within and across a fast-paced, dynamic and metrics-driven environment
· Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills plus proficiency with the entire MS Office suite
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Exceptional communication skills, strong writing skills
· Positive attitude, detail- and customer-oriented, with good multitasking and organizational ability
· Up to 10% travel including international travel
· Helpful: Experience with scoring models, data hygiene and database segmentation
