Job Description
Sr. Statistician of Quality Assurance will serve as a key expert supporting the 2022 Quality Metrics Improvement project.
Responsibilities include:
Utilizes statistical tools and methods to assess the behavior of quality performance metrics and determine adequate metric definition based on data and process knowledge.
Apply analysis tools to make predictions about future outcomes and in multiple scenarios.
Interprets and applies data in analyses and explains findings to project leads.
Assists business with solutioning e.g. SPC techniques, Predictive models etc.
Executes multiple and/or highly complex statistical and mathematical analyses to support business decision making.
Works with large scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems and modeling environments.
Maintain proficiency in statistical techniques, programming, and data management best practices.
Ensure personal understanding and adherence to applicable procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work.
Specialized Knowledge Required:
Proficiency in at least two statistical analysis applications: Minitab, JMP, etc.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree & 3 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering & 5 years of Quality experience
Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience (tools and/or techniques)
Data Visualization, Manipulation and Analysis
Data Analytics expertise
Experience working in a regulated industry
Overall knowledge of Quality System Regulations
Use of TrackWise queries and other data gathering systems
Knowledge of Metrics Visualization tools such as tableau, smartsheet, or Spotfire
Nice to Have:
Data science workbench utilization and skills
Project management experience
