Job Description

We're currently seeking a dynamic Administrative & Retail Assistant to join the team at Gaido’s Inc., a company supporting two restaurants, a hotel, and a gift shop. In this role, you'll enjoy a firsthand look at various aspects of the hospitality industry while collaborating with a friendly and vibrant staff. This full-time position, offering 40 hours per week, provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our office.

• Process orders for pies, cookbooks, and ornaments, managing both email and phone orders efficiently. Coordinate with the kitchen and ensure timely preparation for shipment.
• Oversee the shipping of retail goods, handling the creation of shipping labels and coordinating pick-ups for both Express and Ground shipments.
• Manage bulk pie orders by maintaining clear communication with customers, scheduling with the kitchen, and ensuring proper preparation for shipment.
• Perform diverse administrative tasks, including scanning, shredding, document composition, spreadsheet editing, and record maintenance.
• Keep track of office supplies, first aid supplies, and uniform inventory. Proactively manage inventory levels, anticipate supply needs, and place orders expediently.
• Assist managers by placing online orders for supplies and parts as requested.
• Demonstrate professional communication skills through phone, email, and mail interactions.
• Support the office team by executing tasks related to organization and maintaining strong communication.
• Play a role in the hiring process by preparing new hire uniform packages and handling other onboarding duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with guests and customers.


• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Outlook.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance with a commitment to cleanliness and neatness.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
