Position Summary
The Route Driver/ Customer Service Rep is responsible for performing day to day operations in the local and surrounding areas of Austin of delivery and pick up for our clients. You should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring deliveries or pick-up are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and satisfying our customer’s.
Job Description
• Loading, transporting, and delivering confidential shredding containers to clients in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing and completing required paperwork before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, changes are correct, and the customers are satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Providing excellent customer service and answering questions that clients may have. 
• Adhering to assigned routes and following scheduled routes in a timely manner.
• Ensure all bins are checked in and weighed.
• Abide by all transportation laws and always maintain a safe driving record.
• Provide reports and feedback as requested relating to routes.
• Ability to demonstrate moral character, honesty, tact, fairness, patience, lack of prejudice and desire to help when dealing with people of varying social, cultural and economic backgrounds; creates and promotes a harmonious work environment.
• Ability to meet the demands of lifting and carrying all day.
• Ability to perform in a professional appearance and manner when conducting routes
• Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people.
• Excellent attendance required
• Be punctual and dependable
Required:
• Provide a clean driving record
• Have a clean criminal background
• Be able to pass a drug screen
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs.
Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• High School Diploma; related college coursework preferred
• Valid Texas Driver’s License-REQUIRED
• Clean driving, drug screen and background records at all times.
