Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for the creation and revision of lot specific plan sets for jobs in pipeline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Uses Master CAD files to create lot specific plan sets for jobs in production.
Makes redline corrections at various points throughout the Preconstruction Process
Sends off job specific plan requests
Sends sites plans to surveyors before job goes to construction
Creates any necessary PDF or DWG files of the plan set
Answers questions about job specific plan sets and provides timely and accurate responses
Researches and follows up on any missing or incomplete information
Communicates with others in Preconstruction Department, Manager and Vice President of Preconstruction on relevant information or developments for all current projects
Attends necessary meetings and provides requested information or reports in a timely manner
Telecommuting is an available option for this role so long as productive standards required of the position is maintained.
Other duties as assigned; be flexible
Qualifications

A technical degree (e.g., Associate’s) in computer- aided design or similar;
Bachelors of Arts in Architecture or its equivalent is preferred
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience with AutoCAD or Revit is required.
Working knowledge of plans is required.
Working knowledge of using AutoCAD to draw plans for a production builder is preferred.
