Job Description

Polymer Chemist / Scientist / Technical Services Manager position.
¥ Growing polymer chemical manufacturer is expanding their portfolio and seeking a Polymer Chemist with emulsion polymerization, waterborne acrylics, SBR, styrene butadiene resin, re-dispersible powders, acrylic ester copolymer, aqueous dispersion, and/or similar experience for adhesives. These are used in the construction industry (cementitious systems: caulking, sealants, mortars, flooring adhesives, ceramic tile adhesives, waterproofing, etc.).

Will support Technical Sales (50% travel), interact with customers, R&D, scale-up and production.
Can live anywhere on the East Coast.
Will be a Key Player in Business Development for the construction chemicals industry.
Will emphasize quality, environmental, health, safety, productivity and efficiency.
Must be able to work independently, organized, self-motivated, be team oriented, and have great communication skills.

REQUIRES: BS, MS OR PhD in Polymer Chemistry or related degree. Need at least 5 years industrial experience (ideally combination or research and production).
MUST be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident or otherwise be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship at any time.
Will be based on the East Coast (relatively close to an airport).
We are based in Columbia, SC and have positions nationwide for Chemists, Scientists; Chemical, EHS, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers and Managers.
