Job Description

In the Atlanta area, we are seeking a SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER with chemical manufacturing experience. This position will cover the operations in the US.. This position will ensure supply chain operations in the US, ensuring and optimizing demand and supply of raw materials for production with optimal levels of inventory related to cost, quality, and levels.  This position will work closely with the Sales & Marketing department and the production facilities.

Drive continuous Process Improvement in alignment with Supply Chain business partners (CS / Logistics & Procurement)  Support the customer complaints process Material Master Data Management Ensure the monthly fixed activities required to support the monthly planning cycle are implemented effectively. Manage the monthly demand planning process. Manage the monthly supply planning process & ensure it is aligned with demand. Inventory management (SMOG) Manage Intercompany flows Implement and manage target product availability with the commercial team, set appropriate stocking strategies, planning parameters, define optimal target inventory, and measure against plan. Implement BU improvement plans & roll out defined KPI’s to monitor and correct underperformance. Accountable for the management of material master data accuracy in SAP Define required warehouse footprints

Knowledge and Skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to perform a wide range of duties People management Cross-Functional Collaboration & Effective Communication ERP system proficiency (SAP) & Data analysis Problem solving and adaptability in dynamic environments Result-oriented and stress-resistant Self-starter, able to communicate with different levels in the organization Culture sensitive Time and Inbox management Process improvement Experience 10+ years of business operations and supply chain experience Extensive knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning processes & IBP Knowledge of the Chemical/Pharma Industry Education A degree in supply chain management or a related field       *Capacity planning (production, operations, raw materials) and inventory control (warehouse, distribution, shipping)*Best practices, SAP Standard Operating Procedures*Collaborate with various departments (Procurement / Materials Management / Production / Customer Service / Sales)
