Job Description

As a Staff Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of integrated circuits for switching power supplies using our proprietary BiCMOS technology. Responsibilities include both individual hands-on design as well as project/team management. Your tasks involve but are not limited to circuit design, simulation, layout supervision, verification, product debugging and characterization, ATE to bench correlation, documentation and assisting test and product engineers with taking IC’s to production.

• Mixed-mode integrated circuit design for switching power supply.
• Simulation with Cadence tools
• Behavioral modelling of analog and mixed-mode circuits
• Work with system engineer on new product definitions
• Layout supervision and verification
• Preparation of test plan
• Product characterization
• Bench evaluation both at the silicon level and application level
• Design documentation

Requirements:
• BSEE or foreign equivalent with 2+ years of experience, or MSEE or foreign equivalent on analog and mixed signal Integrated Circuit (IC) design
• A minimum of 5 years of experience designing analog and mixed signal Integrated Circuits preferably in the field of high voltage AC/DC switching power supply
• In-depth understanding of analog circuit blocks and device physics
• Understanding of digital IC design
• Working knowledge of Cadence simulation tools and ability to run mixed mode simulations.
• Familiarity with Verilog
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience in specification creation, technical report writing and test plans / instructions.
