Job Description

We’re seeking a hands-on HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working as a direct thought partner to the Plant Manager, you will lead organizational transformation, drive change management, elevate leadership capabilities, and maintain a high-trust, compliant workplace culture.

Strategic Partner & Executive Coach (60%)
• Direct Plant Leadership Partner: Drive people strategies aligned with business outcomes alongside the Plant Manager and regional leadership.
• Organizational Transformation & Change: Lead cultural and operational shifts across the site, building buy-in across hourly and salaried teams.
• Workforce Planning & Talent Pipelines: Build robust career pathways, succession plans, and retention strategies to meet business growth goals.
• Leadership Coaching: Provide daily coaching to shop floor managers and supervisors to elevate leadership maturity and team performance.

Site Execution & Employee Relations (40%)
• Floor Presence: Serve as the trusted, visible HR leader for hourly and salaried workforce.
• CA Compliance & Safety: Oversee end-to-end employee relations, investigations, labor law compliance, and safety integration.
• HR Analytics: Utilize data and HR toolsets to track retention, career path ratios, and talent development outcomes.

Requirements:
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Bilingual Fluency (English & Spanish): Ability to seamlessly communicate (written and spoken), build trust, and deliver training on the shop floor and to the executive leadership team.
• Deep, current working knowledge of CA labor regulations, wage/hour compliance, and employee relations.
• Hands-on experience leading change management initiatives, workforce planning, talent development, and coaching.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred. PHR-CA or SPHR-CA certification is a major plus.
