Job Description
The Human Resources Manager will work at our office in Biel, Switzerland, and report to the Sr. Director of Human Resources based in the US corporate headquarters. This role will be responsible for the successful execution of relevant HR initiatives and action plans, in addition to overseeing and managing day-to-day HR processes including, but not limited to, employee relations, new hire onboarding, separations, HRIS administration, benefits program administration, and more. Also, the point person to lead and advise in matters relating to human resources, employment law, industry practices, and workplace rights in EMEA region.
• Oversee general HR and Staffing functions in Europe including Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
• Manage full-cycle employment and staffing process, working directly with hiring teams on staffing decisions, and actively sourcing for suitable candidates.
• Provide expertise and knowledge in statutory and industry practices/standards.
• Demonstrate experience in all employee life cycle phases, including recruiting and staffing, training and development, performance management, benefits and compensation, and succession planning.
• Participate in the development and implementation of international policies and procedures.
• Ensure HR compliance with local employment regulations.
• Provide support to the group compliance audit and its related activities.
• Collaborate with Finance department and external providers for the execution of Payroll in all 4 countries mentioned above.
• Coordinating HR planning and development with corporate HR team to ensure adherence to Company policy and direction.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business discipline.
• 5 to 8 years’ experience working as a Human Resources Manager
• Experience supporting Employee Relations at multiple Company sites in EMEA region.
• Excellent knowledge of HR laws and regulations, labor law and compliance, as well as social insurance system.
• Experience supporting HR infrastructure, programs, and processes.
• Familiarity of European HR market practices
• Business professional English and German language skills are required.
• Additional language proficiency such as French or Italian is a plus.
• Experience working in the technology industry/multinational organization preferred.
• Flexibility to travel within Europe to visit our European office locations and international travel if needed.
