Job Description

The Role
AllianceHCM is seeking  a Tax Credit Supervisor, to take our Tax Credit team to the next level. This person will function as a key leader in a continuously evolving department, and be responsible for driving change in order to achieve operational excellence. Successful individuals will be results oriented leaders, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and possess excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to get in the weeds.
Currently, the Tax Credit department is focused on calculating and filing Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC), utilizing AllianceHCM’s powerful, all-in-one HCM software platform to do so.
The WOTC is a federal tax credit available to employers that invest in American job seekers who have consistently faced barriers to employment. Employers may claim the Work Opportunity Tax Credit in the year that they receive the tax credit certification. In some cases, the credits are good for up to two years; however, in most cases, the credits are valid only for one year.
Therefore, for employers with new hires in marginalized groups, it is critically important to file their WOTC through a provider with the following:
1. Comprehensive data sets
2. Efficient processes and procedures that allow for timely filing
3. New hire Onboarding optimized for WOTC screening.
AllianceHCM has a competitive advantage in the Tax Credit industry because of our proprietary platform which allows for centralization of  all critical employer functions (payroll, onboarding, WOTC, compliance, etc.). Our single source data access we provide clients, allows for more WOTC savings, and fewer administrative roadblocks.
