Job Description
Human Resources Leader
Little Rock, AR (relo provided)
We are seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Head of Human Resources – Operations to lead HR delivery across multiple high-volume manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the consistent execution of HR processes that directly support daily plant operations, workforce stability, and production performance. The Head of HR – Operations will lead HR execution across multiple production units (5) on one campus, ensuring alignment with business needs while maintaining compliance, workforce efficiency, and operational continuity. This individual will partner closely with plant leadership to ensure HR processes are effectively supporting production goals and workforce requirements.
HR Operations & Compliance
• Ensure consistent execution of HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards across all production units
• Provide guidance to plant leadership on attendance, performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace conduct
• Maintain compliance with all labor and employment regulations
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
• Lead recruitment execution across technical, professional, and production roles
• Oversee recruitment teams and ensure pipelines support ongoing plant staffing needs
• Monitor and improve key hiring metrics including time-to-fill, vacancy rates, and hiring efficiency
Plant HR Leadership
• Oversee HR Managers supporting multiple production facilities
• Ensure strong execution of employee relations, attendance management, and workforce stability initiatives
• Partner with operations leadership to address workforce challenges and drive engagement
Training & Workforce Development
• Lead training initiatives including onboarding, safety, technical skill development, and leadership programs
• Ensure training programs align with operational needs and workforce capability requirements
Talent Pipeline Development
• Build and sustain external talent pipelines through partnerships with technical schools, universities, and industry networks
• Identify and develop internal talent to support succession planning and workforce growth
Payroll & Employee Administration
• Oversee payroll coordination to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Partner with payroll teams to validate inputs and maintain compliance
Employee Relations
• Manage complex employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
• Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant application of HR policies
HR Performance & Metrics
• Track and drive performance across key workforce metrics including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, training completion, and pipeline readiness
• Ensure HR processes are aligned and consistently executed across all areas
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 5 - 10 years experience
• Must have manufacturing experience
• Must have experience with talent acquisition of hourly and technical disciplines
• Must have experience with workforce development including building relationships with area schools
• Must have experience with performance management
• Management experience a plus
• Will lead a team of 6 including Payroll, T&D, Recruitment, HRM’s
